Auditors Can Learn at Galway Classic Education Weekend

Long Grove, IL, - September 3, 2018 – The expanded Galway Farm Classic, September 7-9, 2018 offers plenty of education, hospitality and fun. Auditors are welcome to attend any of the events, dinners and speakers throughout the weekend. Clinician and USEF licensed official, Diane Carney, will conduct the clinic, giving valuable information for upcoming finals from the judge's perspective.
On Sunday, auditors as well as riders will have the opportunity to hear feedback from Carney after the rounds in the Galway Equitation Classic and the Galway Hunter Derby. Clinic riders will have the opportunity to apply the lessons from Friday and Saturday's clinic days as they show over Carney's designed tracks. Auditors can try to judge the classes to see what its like to be a judge and see the show ring through a judge's eyes. Carney will then go over the results and explain the placings to riders and auditors.
Carney's judging experience includes the 2016 ASPCA Maclay Championships, the 2017 USEF Pony Finals, the New England Equitation Championships, the Winter Equestrian Festival, the LA Masters, the Sunshine Series USHJA $100,000 Hunter Prix and the HITS $500,000 Hunter Prix to name a few. Her passion to teach and educate is evident from coordinating the annual George H. Morris Chicago clinic for over 30 years along with numerous other educational events including the Chicago Gladstone Training Sessions and the new USHJA Gold Star clinics.

In addition to Carney's sessions, the action packed schedule includes an Italian dinner on Friday with speaker Hunter Holloway, Taco Truck night on Saturday with speaker Catherine Tyree and an amazing Champagne Brunch on Sunday during the Galway Equitation Classic and Galway Hunter Derby!

$50/day or $125 for weekend to audit- includes food
Group, IEA and IHSA rates for 5 or more $35 each per day - includes food. Please make a reservation for groups over 10.
