Galway Farm will host the Galway Equitation Classic, which includes a show day of equitation classes to get riders ready for all types of finals.

Long Grove, IL – August 22, 2016 – Auditors are welcome at the Galway Farm Equitation Classic, August 26-28, 2016, featuring a three day educational opportunity with Diane Carney, USEF R licensed official. With the  local, regional and children's medal finals right around the corner, riders, professionals and auditors can head to Galway Farm in Long Grove, Illinois, to take advantage of this opportunity to prepare for finals at all levels.

The event features a discussion on the course walk and a flat work session on Friday. The over fences portion of the clinic is on Saturday, with fence heights at 2’6”, 3’ and 3’6”. Sunday features a practical application of the skills learned in a horse show for riders to dress, braid and experience the classes with review and discussion of their performance from Carney. Riders will compete for awards in the 3’6” Galway Equitation Classic, the EQUO 3’ Equitation Classic and the North Shore Catering 2’6” Equitation Classic.

“This is a valuable opportunity for learning and preparing for any medal finals,” said Galway Farm owner Lorrie Canady. (inset right)  "I'm happy to provide this opportunity for riders to brush up on their skills before regionals and finals.
