George H. Morris heads to Rush Weeden's Brookwood Farm in Antioch, Illinois, November 23 - 25, 2018.Antioch, IL –October 15, 2018 – Brookwood Farm and Rush Weeden welcome the George H. Morris Chicago Clinic November 23-25, 2018. The clinic has been a Thanksgiving weekend tradition in the Chicago area for over 30 years, coordinated by Diane Carney/Telluride, drawing 24 talented riders and over 300 auditors to watch the legendary Morris each year.
Rush Weeden and clinic coordinator Diane Carney have partnered for many years to host the George H. Morris Chicago Clinic. The caliber of the Chicago clinic is always top-notch, with numerous professionals getting in on the education. Professionals this year include:

The clinic consists of challenging exercises from 1.10m to 1.30m and always includes the 10’ water jump. In the history of the clinic, riders such as Weeden, who has ridden in the clinic himself many years, can recollect special jumps that have shown up in the clinic over the years such as the Chinese wall from the Hong Kong Olympics to the famous Shamu, who makes his appearance yearly. Carney mentioned there will be a new jump this year from the World Equestrian Games.
Clinic Details
- The George H. Morris Chicago Clinic is November 23 - 25, 2018.
- Auditors are welcome; the cost is $100 per person per day- includes lunch. No reservation needed.
- A book signing will be held Saturday the 24th at 5:30pm.
- Groups begin daily at 9:00am for 1.10m, 11:00am for 1.20m and 2:30pm for the 1.30m.
