Get in on the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show $50,000 Grand Prix




Show Includes Region 5 ASPCA Maclay Championships 


St. Louis, MO - Sept. 3, 2017 - It's not too late to get in on the St. Louis National Charity $50,000 Grand Prix. The Grand Prix will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017, in the outdoor arena at the National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. The show is honored to once again host the Region 5 ASPCA Maclay Championships on Saturday, September 16th, at 7 pm, during the annual charity show, which takes place from September 13th-17th.  Ken Krome of Westminster, Maryland, will design the courses for both prestigious events.

The main indoor arena and warm up ring at the Lake St. Louis Equestrian Center have been upgraded with all new footing (river sand) to handle the top equestrians and their equine partners headed for the historic horse show. The main goal of the show committee is to attract some of the best competition in the country to St. Louis to be showcased at the longstanding charity horse show.

Also on Saturday at 7:30 am - Junior & pony riders - please join us for a special breakfast presentation with 2016 ASPCA Maclay Finals & Washington International Equitation Finals winner Hunter Holloway in the upstairs viewing area. As a junior rider, Hunter showed successfully in the pony, junior hunter, equitation, Derby and Grand Prix rings. She'll share tips about navigating the ins and outs, along with the highs and lows, of the equitation ring.
 

Reserve a ringside tailgate spot for the Grand Prix for $75 or reserve a ringside box in the main hunter ring - $200 for the week. For Box & tailgate reservations please contact swoodley@swbell.net.
