Hampshire, IL – May 9, 2019 – It’s time to reserve your spot for the Benchmark Stables Jumper Derby Weekend June 1-2, 2019 at Liz Atkins’ Benchmark Stables in Hampshire, Illinois. Atkins has planned a fun and educational weekend for trainers, riders and auditors to kick off the spring season. Now is the time to reserve for spot for this amazing weekend!            

Jumper Derby Clinic and Derby
Saturday begins with a jumper clinic at heights from .80m to 1.40m with USEF licensed official and clinician, Diane Carney. The clinic is focused on the skills needed to ride a jumper derby course, including water options and natural obstacles. The clinic provides a great opportunity for a spring tune up before heading into the show season with sections are offered for all levels of riders. Auditors are welcome for $25 per day, which includes lunch, no reservation is required to audit.
 
Riders will work on the skills needed to participate in the actual Benchmark Stables Jumper Derby on Sunday June 2nd.  All heights will have the opportunity to compete for prizes over a gorgeous derby course designed by Carney. Benchmark Stables is the perfect location for the event, featuring spacious indoor and outdoor facilities to accommodate whatever Mother Nature throws out for Chicago’s spring weather.
 
A fabulous champagne brunch will be served during the outstanding Jumper Derby competition on Sunday.
