Midwest Equestrian Fundraiser for Kevin Babington

Bid online November 14-17, 2019

The Midwest Equestrian Fundraiser for Kevin Babington is an event that strives to support Kevin Babington and all equestrians who have suffered spinal cord injuries. The fundraiser takes place on Thursday, November 14 through Sunday, November 17, 2019.  Through the hard work and generosity of local riders and owners who have had the opportunity to benefit from Kevin's expertise and caring over the last two decades, we hope to raise funds that can be used by Kevin and others with spinal cord injuries to gain access to cutting edge care and other resources that allow them to heal and grow in their equestrian and non-equestrian pursuits.

Audit the Clinic
The Fundraiser revolves around a sold-out clinic given by Hardin Towell, of Oakland Stables in Wellington, Florida, and The Netherlands. Towell is a successful show jumping rider and trainer who has represented the U.S. at the highest level of the sport including multiple FEI events, Nations Cup teams and the Longines Global Champions Tour. Towell is taking time out of his busy schedule to support Kevin and his family by stepping into clinic dates that Kevin filled for nearly two decades in the Midwest.

Donate Online or Bid on Auction Items

In addition to the clinic,  the fundraiser has been overwhelmed with donations of amazing items to create an online interactive silent auction that is accessible to those attending the clinic and to those who wish to bid and donate remotely.

The response to the clinic, auction items and donations was overwhelming to begin with and has now reached a level of which we could never have imagined a few short weeks ago.  Donations to the Kevin Babington Foundation can be made online and through successfully bidding for online auctions items. Auditor fees and donations in the form of a check can be made payable to  “The Babington Family Trust” and brought in person or mailed to Autumn Road Farm c/o Sara Rhodes,  41900 N Delany Rd, Zion, IL 60099.

Donate funds, preview the amazing array of auction items in advance of the auction, sign up for the online auction remotely and ultimately bid for items once the bidding opens on Thursday, November 14th at 11:00 am Central. Bids and donations will continue to be accepted until 12:00 Noon Central on Sunday, November 17th.  Our event software provides a fully interactive electronic silent auction experience on your personal electronic devices and phones whether one is at Autumn Road Farm for the event or thousands of miles away.
