Northern Pines Farm Offers Quality Horses for Your 2020 Show Season

 

Northern PInes Farm offers quality horses for sale for riders of all levels. 

 
Maple City, Michigan – October 22, 2019 –Melissa Hirt, trainer at Northern Pines Farm, is offering quality horses for sale or lease for your 2020 show season. The list features horses for all levels of riders and all divisions including young jumpers and hunters, equitation horses, junior hunters and jumpers to fit your budget.

What do you need?
Come to the farm for one-stop shopping to try numerous horses or catch up with the team in Wellington. A selection of horses will be available for weekly leases during the Winter Equestrian Festival for your clients that can’t ship a horse down, need an extra horse, or for those who can only show for a short period of time. 
 
A sample of horses that are available include(see the complete attached list below)
 
Vida De Roca: 6-year-old, 17.2 Oldenburg gelding.  “Eli” is leading the country in the Six Year Old Young Hunters.  He has shown at WEF, GLEF, and in Kentucky. Eli is beautiful to look at and jumps great! He definitely has a future as a derby horse! 
 
App For That: 5-year-old, 16.2 imported Warmblood gelding.  “Jerich” is leading the country in the Five Year Old Young Hunters.  This horse has shown at WEC, WEF, GLEF, and in Kentucky.  “Jerich” is a character who has a great personality, great lead change, and super cute jump!  This horse can easily be shown by an intermediate adult or child who is looking to move up through the 3’6” divisions.  

Skara Glen’s Basel:  Experienced, 16.1 Warmblood gelding. “Basel” has the show record that says it all!  This horse has shown in the U25 in Wellington, at Spruce Meadows, and other major venues. He is the perfect horse for someone looking to move up to High Junior/AO Jumpers.
 
Lilly: 11-year-old, small pony mare. She was 4that Pony Finals a few years ago and usually wins the under saddle classes.  Lilly is best suited for the short stirrup.  The pony is very light in the bridle and has a great lead change!
 
Northern Pines Farm has several other three-year-olds, two-year-olds, weanlings, and broodmares available for sale.

Melissa Hirt is a native of suburban Chicago and moved to Leelanau County in 1995, completing construction of her Northern Pines equine dream in 2000. Today, Melissa's students are winning numerous top honors at the zone, regional, and national levels through her experienced training and remarkable skill of matching riders and horses to create impressive teams.

Northern Pines Farm boasts 32 stalls with spacious heated viewing room, large indoor and outdoor arenas and 15 paddocks set in the beautiful countryside of Maple City, Michigan. Amenities include Theraplate and treadmill along with a roomy wash stall with heat lamp. The farm has a location next to the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival show facility in Traverse City.
