Lake St. Louis, MO – April 4, 2016 - The Lake St. Louis Winter Festival, presented by Queenie Productions and manager, John McQueen, wrapped up another fun filled winter circuit at the National Equestrian Center in Missouri. In addition to the feature $25,000 Grand Prixs, USHJA National Hunter Derbies and USHJA Pre-Green Incentive Stake Classes, McQueen has a knack for adding a special touch of fun to add a little warmth to the frosty winter months.
McQueen held the Equus Foundation Best Performance Competition each week, honoring great rides from professionals, amateurs, pony riders and junior riders.

Mixing in some fun with special perks for exhibitors from soup day to casual exhibitor parties during the feature events, McQueen kept competitors laughing. Toss in the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest and the Valentine Heart Contest and you have the mixings for a warm and friendly horse show circuit.
“There are many great horse show circuits around the country that offer wonderful competition and prizes,” said McQueen. “I need to focus on MY circuit - focus on producing a great quality horse show that offers great competition, but most importantly on FAMILY! To have the fortune to have an eight year old child run to my office to let me know they'd won a blue ribbon on their pony. To have a Mom stop me to let me know her kid had been successful in their new "move up" division. To have a trainer let me know how much they appreciated what I had done to accommodate their customers special need. To have a Dad come by to thank me for all we had done to help him understand a sport that he knew nothing about. To have an entire family that have been great supporters of my shows end up first and second in a $25000 GP and be able to leave the horse show with their prize money in hand and a great sense of accomplishment. To be able to have the wonderful people around me that are true horsemen and true Family people! …Just a small kindness or show of support goes much farther than we will ever know - it takes a little of the bitter out and makes life a little better.”

"Thank you to each and every one of you that took part - in whatever way - to make this a WONDERFUL series!! We couldn't do it with out you! See ya’ down the road and hopefully at the next show in St Louis in September!” added McQueen.
Queenie Productions also presents the Go Preview Horse Show and Greater Oklahoma Go Shows in July and the International Omaha May 4-8, 2016. For more information on all the Queenie Productions’ shows, visit their website at www.queenieproductions.com.
