Showplace Productions offers top of the line horse show experiences for all levels of riders.
 
Roscoe, IL – May 7, 2019 – Showplace Productions is offering an impressive Illinois Hunter Jumper Association (IHJA) B circuit lineup for the 2019 show season featuring $250 Classics for all divisions, the $1,000 Chicago Equestrian Hunter Derby Series, Special Awards for the highest Hunter Classic Score at each show and the IHJA Medal Finals and Derby Finals.

The first show in a series of seven begins this weekend at the beautiful Ledges Sporting Horses facility in Roscoe, Illinois.  The shows feature top of line jumps and courses, awards and ribbons through 8th place, special awards for the highest hunter classic score, special prizes for classic and derby winners and first place prizes for every class. Divisions are offered at every level from beginners to Children’s/Adult Jumpers, from baby green hunters to Open and Junior/Amateur Owner Hunters, and from short stirrup equitation to Junior/Amateur medal classes.

“These shows are back in popular demand because they offer so much for riders and trainers while remaining economical and easy to navigate,” said Pat Boyle of Showplace Productions. “Plus we have a lot of fun!”

Each show includes special social events like Mother’s Day Brunch, pizza parties, the Dachshund Rescue Silent Auction, ice cream socials and much more. 

The IHJA B Series offers year end awards in addition to the first rate IHJA B Medal Finals competition in August along with the Chicago Equestrian Hunter Derby Finals, where show managers Pat and Nicole Boyle leave no detail unattended from gorgeous awards, coolers and presentations right down to the photos by Andrew Ryback Photography and the grand victory gallop for each special event.

“It’s a great way for beginning riders to learn about horse showing in a fun and safe environment,” said Perfecta Farm trainer Kim Gardiner, who hosts the popular Perfecta Farm Show.

Conveniently located at Ledges Sporting Horses on Love Road in Roscoe, Illinois, directly off HWY 90/51 with easy access from Wisconsin and the greater Chicago area, the location boasts numerous hotels and restaurants nearby. Ledges also has great permanent stabling, multiple outdoor arenas and schooling areas, top of the line footing, jumps and food located on site. Ledges has hosted national grand prixs as well as USHJA zone championships for both hunters and jumpers is is one of Chicago's favorite places to horse show year round.
