Believe It Farm, owned by Susan and Kenny Bozorgi, is an equestrian facility specializing in the individualized care of competitive horses post injury, in retirement or who are simply at rest. The farm is also home to talented young rider Alec Bozorgi, a national finalist in 2012 for the USHJA's Emerging Athletes Program and an invited participant in this year's USET George H. Morris Gladstone Program.

"We specialize in caring for competitive horses that need either some time off, special attention or if they've had an injury, a place for lay-up and rehabilitation," said Susan Bozorgi. "We also take care of a few special needs retirement horses. All the horses are sport horses who are accustomed to a very structured environment with a lot of attention and very specifically managed turnout or stall rest and hand walking and a monitored diet."

Bozorgi offers very individualized care. She shared that each horse is unique and should be treated with their own care plan, diet and exercise or rehabilitation program.  Bozorgi also said that it is important that the owner be an integral part of the care plan.

The Bozorgi family, including daughter Amanda all grew up with horses in the area and have all ridden locally and nationally.

"We are very proud of the history that is here." Bozorgi said. "There is a history of strong midwestern riders and Pat Boyle has created opportunities for these riders to grow up and participate in very top level shows."

Last week was particularly special at Spring Spectacular for the Bozorgi family. Alec Bozorgi rode in his first grand prix.

"It was a very big moment for him and for all of us who have supported and encouraged him over the years," she said. "It was a very special show for all of us. We are also very proud of what has been happening at Lamplight with Pat Boyle and his team. It was one of the best shows we've attended. It was just exceptional."

"I love that Pat Boyle is so committed to this area," Bozorgi said. "With our sponsorship, we wanted to thank him by returning some of that commitment back."
