St. Louis, MO - September 1, 2018 - Entries close today for the historic St. Louis National Charity Horse Show, September 12-16, 2018, featuring the $50,000 Grand Prix and the Region 5 ASPCA Maclay Championships at the National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. Entries can be made online at www.horseshowtime.com, emailed to mcannon@queenieproductions.com or faxed to 206-202-3077. There's a great lineup of competition, sponsors and hospitality you won't want to miss!

The National Equestrian Center is under new management that has worked to upgrade the facility with many improvements including new GGT butterfly matting and a fiber/sand mixture in the main arena and warm up area.  The main goal of the show committee is to attract some of the best competition in the country to St. Louis to be showcased at the longstanding charity horse show.

Charities Benefit
Since 1856, the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show has brought together thousands of the best equestrians and equines to compete in one of the nation’s greatest horse shows. The event benefits two of the region’s charities: TREEHouse of Greater St. Louis and Stray Rescue of St. Louis, donating more than $115,000 over the past several years.

The St. Louis National Charity Horse Show is grateful to be supported by sponsors, who also make charity an important part of their businesses, such as Tito’s Handmade Vodka, America’s Original Craft Vodka,. In 1995, Bert “Tito” Beveridge obtained the first legal permit to distill in Texas and created Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Tito’s Handmade Vodka is distilled and bottled by Fifth Generation Inc. in Austin, Texas on the very same land where the whole venture started.  An important part of the story at Tito’s Handmade Vodka is the innate connection they have with their canine counterparts, committed to rescuing and protecting the animals, many of whom now thrive alongside employees at the distillery and the office. Read more about the history of Tito's here.

Waterway Car Wash is another sponsor proud to support non-profit organizations that make an important and positive impact on the neighborhoods they serve. Since the 1970s, Waterway has donated more than $1 million in car wash services to local 501C3 groups to be used in auctions as door prizes, rewards and more. Headquartered in St. Louis, Waterway opened in 1987 in Kansas City, in 1999 in Denver, 2008 in Cleveland and 2015 in Chicago. Now, more than 40 years later, Waterway operates 20 locations in five cities and is a nationally recognized leader in the car wash industry.
