Julian Johnson’s goal with his photography is to provide an elevated experience for his clients by producing fashion-focused imagery.  With over 20 years of experience working on fashion photo shoots, Julian has developed an eye for beauty and takes an individual approach to each of his clients.  The end result is a fun, relaxing experience captured in a display of unique, fashion-forward photos, which can include your favorite equine partner.
 
Johnson has been passionate about horses from a very young age. In an effort to combine his extraordinary background and experience in the fashion industry with his passion for horses, Equestrian Lifestyle was born.
 

“I want to make people feel good about themselves,” said Johnson. “Our shoots aren’t just portrait sittings, they’re a whole experience of glamour and having fun while looking and feeling fantastic.”

Johnson's impeccable technical ability and creative vision have made him one of the most in-demand hair and makeup artists within the industry.  His innovation and influence can be felt in editorial features, advertisements, and campaigns.  Season after season, his looks define contemporary style. Johnson  has worked on runway shows in New York and Miami for Oscar De Le Renta, Norma Kamli, Estaban Cortazar, Diesel, Ann Taylor, and Nautica. Johnson's trend establishing looks are also a creative force within the retail giants Neiman Marcus, Target, Macy's, Chicos, White House Black Market, Bon Ton, Kohl's and  JC Penny.  You can see his style in advertising campaigns for Redken, Aveda, Reebok, Aveeno, and American Express to name a few. 

The photo shoot includes hair and makeup, wardrobe styling, art direction and post-production edits. This opportunity is a truly unique experience unlike anything found in the industry today.
