 November 23 - 25, 2018 - Education for all levels

Antioch, IL –November 12, 2018 – George H. Morris will educate both riders and auditors at the annual Chicago Clinic November 23-25, 2018, at Rush Weeden's Brookwood Farm. The clinic, coordinated by Diane Carney/Telluride, has been a Thanksgiving tradition for over 30 years, drawing 24 talented riders and over 300 auditors, who learn from the legendary Morris each year.

The caliber of riders in the Chicago clinic is always top-notch, with numerous professionals getting in on the education. Professionals riding this year include:

Peter Lombardo - Frontier Farms - Moorpark, CA
Liz Atkins - Benchmark Stables - Hampshire, IL
Melissa Campbell Donnelly - Just A Folly Farm - Oxford, MI
Michael Burnett - Burnett Farms - Lebanon, IN
Serah Vogus - Millcreek - Antioch, IL
Ryan Sassmansshausen - Kinvarra Farm - St. Charles, IL
Karen McFarland - Edgewater Sport Horses - St. Louis, MO
Lindsay Yinger - Otterbein University - Columbus, OH

Rush Weeden clears the 10' water on Cassanova during a session with George Morris.

Other trainers bringing students to ride include:
Maria Rasmussen - Sea Change Farm - Antioch, IL
Taylor McMurtry - Windridge Farm - Bolingbrook, IL
Lynn Jayne - Our Day Farm - Elgin, IL
Andrea Hendricks - Legacy Equestrian Team - Manteno, IL
Rush Weeden - Brookwood Farm - Antioch, IL
Diane Carney - Telluride - Antioch, IL

Auditors include trainers, top junior and amateur riders, young riders hoping for a slot in the clinic someday, and riders from all disciplines including dressage and eventing. Sitting in the chairs is just as educational as being in saddle when Morris is center stage. Viewers sit on the edge of their seats and take notes when Morris demonstrates his principles in the tack.

"Having watched and learned for years, George continues to inspire year after year," added Carney. "Those who saw him 20 years ago should see him again because everyone improves with time and George is a master when it comes to teaching."
