St. Louis, MO - August 10, 2020 - The St. Louis National Charity Horse Show is planning another fantastic year at the National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, September 9-13, 2020. The event includes the $30,000 Grand Prix, the $5,000 3' Hunter Derby and the Region 5 ASPCA Maclay Championships to be judged by Tom Brennan and Keri Kampsen.

Other highlights include the $5,000 Open Welcome Stake on Friday and the $2,500 Junior Amateur Owner Jumper Classic, which takes place on Sunday.
To facilitate social distancing this year, the show will utilize the main indoor arena with fiber footing as well as two recently graded outdoor rings with enhanced drainage, one for hunters and one for jumpers. Current plans include holding rated classes, the 3' derby, and the ASPCA Maclay Regional Finals in the indoor arena. All jumper classes, along with hunter classes normally run in the smaller indoor arena, will take place outside.
Please note that per USEF regulations, face masks must be worn at all times when not mounted and social distancing must be observed. Both hand-sanitizing and hand-washing stations are located throughout the facility, along with other USEF-recommended pandemic precautions.

Since 1856, the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show has brought together thousands of the best equestrians and equines to compete in this horse show. The event helps to support the efforts of two of the region’s charities: TREE House of Greater St. Louis and Stray Rescue of St. Louis, donating more than $115,000 over the past several years.
