Join the Our Day Farm Team

Our Day Farm is located in Elgin, IL and Wellington, FL.

Elgin, IL – September 12, 2014 - Divide and conquer seems to be the theme of the Jayne family’s Our Day Farm of Elgin, IL. The diversity and flexibility of the family team allows them to train clients and horses at all levels and all locations. The proof lies not only in their ability to divide up and attend different events, but the real proof is in their results. From the Olympic level to junior jumpers to starting young horses, the multi-talented family can tackle it all.

Charlie Jayne and Chill R Z.

Charlie Jayne, 28, has Olympic level knowledge and experience from his international career. Charlie most recently returned to the United States from the World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, where he was the alternate for the Bronze Medal winning US Team with his Pony Lane Farm mount, Chill R Z.  Charlie then traveled to participate in the Zoetis $1 Million Grand Prix in Saugarties, NY, where he competed over Olympic size jumps to earn a fourth place spot among some of the world’s best show jumping horses. From there, Charlie will attend the Central Park Grand Prix on September 18th, for $200,000 in prize money at the Trump Rink during the four-day celebration of the horse in New York. Charlie’s resume includes numerous laurels including alternate rider for the 2012 London Olympics, winner of the $50,000 Idle Dice Stake of Devon, fourth in the $200,000 Amrican Gold Cup and the list goes on.
