Lamplight Equestrian Center to Host Tequestrian Farm Young Horse Show

Wayne, IL – June 15, 2015 – Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL, will host the Tequestrian Farm Young Horse Show on Saturday, June 27, 2015. The show is for young horses of all disciplines, 1-7 years of age. It is a qualifier for the 2015 Spy Coast Farm Young Horse Finals, which take place November 6-7, 2015 at the Tryon Equestrian Center. The Tequestrian Farm Young Horse Show offers $2,500 in prize money.
 
The judge for the event is Jos Sevriens of Newnan, GA, a notable USEF breeding judge who judges for the KWPN/ NA, AHHA and NAS. 
 

On Friday, June 26, 2015, AliBoo Farm, Inc. has arranged for Safety Check, Inc., an expert in the realm of safety and health compliance, to hold a brief seminar discussing several safety and liability matters relevant to the equine industry.  Topics will include barn fire prevention, trailering precautions, and other matters of consideration to take in to account when insuring the safety of you, your employees, your horses and your equine investments.
 
Safety Check, Inc. is a nationally recognized loss control consultant specializing in multiple areas of hazard prevention, including equine safety.  This seminar will be free to all attendees and will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Finish Line Pavilion next to Barns A and B. Guests will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for great prizes including an iPad mini. Appetizers and refreshments will be served courtesy of AliBoo Farm.
 
Footing First will sponsor the In-hand at Liberty for horses age 1-4. 
 
Safety Check, Inc. is the sponsor for the Jump Chute ages 2-4. 
 
Munky Sunk Stables is sponsoring the Flat Classes for ages 3-5 and Page Brook Farms will sponsor the Jumping Under Saddle for ages 4-5. There will also be Dressage under saddle classes for 4-5 year olds.
 
New classes for 2015 include schooling warm up classes for flat/dressage under saddle ages 3-7 and schooling open hunter/jumper for ages 3-7.
 
Numerous facility improvements including GGT Footing, make Lamplight Equestrian Center Chicago’s premier horse show facility.
