December 6-7, 2014Barrington, IL – November 20, 2014 – Old Barrington Farm welcomes nationally renowned trainer Frank Madden to their farm for a hunter/jumper clinic Saturday, December 6
th and Sunday, December 7
th, 2014. Madden will teach three sessions each day consisting of 3’ hunters, 3’ jumpers and 3’6” jumpers and equitation. There are a few rider spots open and auditors are welcome.
Frank Madden stands out as one of the most successful and dedicated trainers of young and developing show jumping talent in the United States. He has trained several of the most promising junior equitation and junior amateur jumper riders who have the potential to represent the United States at the highest levels of international competition.*
Madden and several of his top riders were featured in the 2005 Animal Planet television series "Horse Power: The Road to the Maclay." Animal Planet filmed as Madden's student Brianne Goutal made history as the first junior rider to win all the major equitation finals. Goutal won the USEF Medal Finals, ASPCA Maclay Finals, USEF Talent Search Finals, Capital Challenge Equitation Final, and the Washington International Equitation Final.*
In addition to training and clinics, Madden also judges and serves on several national committees including the USHJA Hunt Seat Equitation Task Force. He received the “Developmental Coach of the Year” award from the U.S. Olympic Committee and the “Show Hunter Horseman of the Year” award in 2005 from the Chronicle of the Horse.
