Young Horse Show Celebrates Second Year at Lamplight Equestrian Center

 
 
Tequestrian Farm Sponsors A Year of Growth
 
Wayne, IL – June 28, 2015 –The Tequestrian Farm Young Horse Show at Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL on Saturday, June 27, 2015 celebrated its second year along with considerable growth. The show, organized by Jean Yves Tola, is for young horses of all disciplines 1-7 years of age. It is a qualifier for the 2015 Spy Coast Farm Young Horse Finals, which take place November 6-7, 2015 at the Tryon Equestrian Center.
 
The judge, Jos Sevriens of Newnan, GA, a notable USEF breeding judge, had his work cut out for himself as he sorted through the numerous entries to score each one.
 
In-Hand
Winner of the in-hand yearling class was Santana SS (AHS)  (Stedinger/Leonburg) with a score of 8.85,
owned and breed by Dawn Spencer.


Winner of the largest section, the in-hand two-year-old class with 13 entries, was Fierra (AHHA) (Diarado/Lorentin I) with a score of 8.7, owned and bred by Parvin Work.(above)

Winner of the in-hand for three-year-olds was Hero (KWPN) (Brainpower/Lord Z) owned by Marius Malinowski with a score of 8.32.

The four and five-year-old in-hand winner was Calano Z (Calato Z/Calvaro Z)  owned by AliBoo Farm and bred by Piet Janssen, scoring 8.2.

Under Saddle
In the under saddle sections it was Marilyn Black’s Harrison SGS (KWPN-NA) (Devonheir/Krack C) with the highest score of all the under saddle horses, 8.03, claiming the blue in the three-year-olds.
 
AliBoo Farm’s My Pride Z (Z) (Mylord Carthago/Eurocomerce Berlin) took the top place in the four-year-olds under saddle with a score of 7.8

The five-year-old under saddle went to Foster (ISR) (Frohwind/Ratibor) owned by Klammer/Bush with a 7.48.

Jumping Chute


For the two-year-olds in the jumping chute it was AliBoo Farm’s Anthemis Z (Z) (Asca Z/Lupicor)
scoring a 9.23 for the win. (above)


In the three-year-olds, Hero (KWPN) Brainpower/Lord Z received the second highest score in the jump chute for the day with a 9.56. Hero is owned by Marius Malinowski. Trained by AliBoo Farm, Hero earned the Championship ribbon for the highest scoring KWPN.(above)


In the four-year-old jump chute it was AliBoo Farm’s Calano Z  (Calato Z/Calvaro Z) taking the top honor with 9.79 with the highest score of the day. (above)
 
Over Fences

AliBoo Farm claimed both the first and second place spots in the four-year-old jumping with Calano Z (Z) (Calato Z/Calvaro Z) 
scoring 8.81 and My Pride Z (Z) (Mylord Carthago/Eurocomerce Berlin) scoring 8.42.

“We really need these young horse events,” said Lamplight owner Nina Moore. “They need a place to get started and its nice to see the numbers are growing. Some of the nicest horses are right here in our own back yards so its great to support these shows.”

Taylor Flury of AliBoo Farm added, “Its nice to be able to get the young horses out and see how our breeding lines are doing compared to others.”



On Friday, June 26, 2015, AliBoo Farm, Inc. treated exhibitors to a lovely party and arranged for Safety Check, Inc., an expert in the realm of safety and health compliance, to hold a brief seminar discussing several safety and liability matters relevant to the equine industry.  Topics included barn fire prevention, trailering precautions, and other matters of consideration to take in to account when insuring the safety of you, your employees, and your horses.
